Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded Founder and CEO Atul Patidar and Farmkart for transforming the lives of thousands of rural farmers via innovative tech-solutions and exemplary work during the Covid-19 lockdown.
Rural India teaches you something fast: if you need it and it doesn’t exist, you build it yourself. That conviction has never left us.
Our Story
The energy grid didn’t reach us. The water treatment plant was never built. The supply chain ended two towns over. Growing up in rural Madhya Pradesh, you learn fast: if you need it and it doesn’t exist, you build it yourself. That lesson became a company.
In 2017, Atul Patidar returned home after years of research abroad to convince like-minded people to join something bigger. What started in a Toronto apartment with five people became a conviction: food, water, energy, and health are still not guaranteed for millions. We could change that.
R-Solar brought clean, affordable energy to rural homes and farms. Not just to power appliances — to power the rest of the ecosystem. Solar powers the pump. The pump powers the water. The water grows the crop.
Shubham India and Imemflo built the water treatment and filtration systems that communities needed and governments hadn’t yet provided. Water safe to drink. Water that made agriculture possible.
Farmkart connected farmers directly to markets — no middlemen, better prices, access to the best inputs. Reva Flora added the biology, growing tissue-cultured crops that produce more and resist more. No Brands brought uncompromising quality to every input in the chain.
When we saw that the people we were building for needed more than food to thrive, we built Synervion — functional nutrition and nutraceuticals for communities that deserve the best. Today, Farmkart Group is an ecosystem. Every company feeds the next. None of it works alone.
To build the infrastructure of life — food, water, energy, and health — in the markets where access to any one of them is still not guaranteed.
A world where no community has to figure out food, clean water, reliable energy, or basic health on its own — because someone already built it.
We build things that last. Not products — infrastructure. The kind that outlives the moment it was needed and becomes part of how a community runs itself.
We don't innovate for its own sake. We build new things because old things weren't reaching the people who needed them. Necessity is still our best brief.
We operate in places where trust is earned, not assumed. Every farmer, partner, and customer we work with knows exactly what they're getting and why.
We exist to give farmers and communities the tools to run their own futures. Not dependence on us — capability that belongs to them.
